Talbot Chemicals Limited Terms & Conditions

1. Registration

1.1 Talbot Chemicals Limited, means Talbot Chemicals Limited Chemicals Ltd. ‚You are the customer. You agree to purchase goods from Talbot Chemicals Limited subject to the terms and conditions which will apply to all transactions.

1.2 You must be 18 years or over and must complete the registration process to purchase goods from Talbot Chemicals Limited.

1.3 Your email address is required so that Talbot Chemicals Limited can supply detailed information regarding your order, such as invoice, order confirmation and any changes. By completing the registration process, you accept that your email address may be used to supply this information. Your email address will not be released to any 3rd party.

2. Ordering

2.1 We do not show prices on our website. For pricing/ordering information, please contact us directly via Email or Telephone. We’ll discuss your needs and provide you with a full list of products and provide a quote you for your items/order. If necessary we can provide samples.

3. Alternative Goods

3.1 Goods are subject to availability and prevailing market conditions. If any goods you wish to purchase are not available, Talbot Chemicals Limited will contact you to offer an alternative product. This contact will be by email or telephone.

4.Payment/Credit Terms

4.1 Credit terms of payment are on the 20th of the following month of invoice

4.2 Overdue accounts will be put on stop. Orders will not be processed until the account is settled.

4.3 Notification of invoice queries must be made within 7 days of receipt of invoice. If we are not advised of any discrepancies, then payment is due as normal, and any credit notes will be taken into the issuing month.

4.4 Overdue accounts with no explanation will receive notification of our intentions to refer them to our debt collection agency. Any costs incurred will be chargeable.

4.5 Customers who have been referred to our collection agents and/or are continually late in settling their accounts will be asked to trade on a pro forma basis only.

4.6 If the credit limit is exceeded, we may ask for payment to rectify the situation. Limits will be reviewed, once a satisfactory trading record has been established.

5. Delivery Service

5.1 When goods are delivered, you or someone on your behalf will be required to inspect the goods. The contract of sale is not complete until you accept the goods at the time of delivery. You are within your rights to refuse part or all of the goods before signing the dispatch note.

5.2 If someone other than you at the delivery address signs for the goods, Talbot Chemicals Limited will be entitled to assume that person is authorised by you to accept the goods. The person signing for the good must be over 18 years old.

5.3 We will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to the goods after the contract of sale has been conducted. Otherwise our liability to you shall be limited in contract and/or to the value of the order, unless we have been negligent and that negligence has caused death or personal injury.

5.4 Talbot Chemicals Limited operate a 7 working day delivery service for all stock items, however if your order is not in stock some Ingredients, Bottles or Tops may need to be ordered from the manufacturer and can take anything up to 5 weeks for delivery. If we think this is the case we will contact you to let you know and offer the option for you to amend/cancel your order.

5.5 At point of delivery shortages /damages must be reported in writing/by email within 3 days of delivery of the goods.

6. Returns

6.1 Any refunds will be issued in the form of a Credit Note.

6.2 You must decide before ordering if the goods are suitable for your needs.

7. Privacy Policy and Personal Information’s

7.1 All personal details you enter into this site are on our secure server. With the exception of your credit card details which are is dealt with by our merchant services provider.

7.2 Details of the areas of the site that you most visit are tracked by our server so that we can ascertain which areas of the site are of most interest. Adverts and offers that we then provide on our offer page will target those areas.

7.3 Email addresses are kept so that you can log on to the site.

7.4 IP addresses of your computer are logged so that we know what computers are looking at the site.

7.5 Any personal information we collect from you will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable laws. It will/could be used to process/deliver orders, carry out security checks via person and public databases to avoid any fraudulent transaction, process credit cards payments with our merchant services providers and to provide you with information/promotions at any time.

7.6 We do not share any of your personal details with any other company or mailing database. The only time we release any details is for the process of credit card payment by the merchant services company.
